Society of Physics Students

Second Fall SPS Meeting
Tuesday, October 18, 2005
7:00 - 8:00 pm
Room 204B physics building (enter through main office)

Letter from the president:

For those of you who do not know, we have reactivated the Society of Physics Students for this year.  This is a student run organization that allows physics majors an opportunity to experience physics outside of the classroom. Some of the activities range from touring labs here in the physics department to having guest speakers such as graduate students talking about grad school and the GRE.

The society however isn't limited to just physics activities. Having an organization allows us to have meetings on a purely social level as well. So if you are interested in getting a little more out of your physics degree or you just want to hang out with like-minded students, feel free to come to the meeting on Tuesday.

We will be having our second Society of Physics Students meeting next Tuesday, October 18th at 7:00pm. It will be held in room 254 of the physics building. If you can't make it but still would like to be involved, just email me and let me know.  Hope to see you there.

Sincerely,
Mark Boudreaux
President SPS
