The University of Georgia Department of History grants the B.A., M.A.,and Ph.D. degrees. The department has a strong tradition of expertise in subjects ranging from early American to modern African American history, the Caribbean to the Middle East, early modern Europe to the modern U.S. South, technology to religion, popular culture to foreign policy, environment to global capitalism.
